1. Who we are

Melck Mascotas is a small business based in Barranquilla (Atlántico, Colombia), run by Melany Márquez, that designs and sells resin pet ID tags with a QR code and NFC chip.

2. What we offer

Personalized ID tags and an online profile for each pet, reached by scanning the QR code or holding a phone close to the NFC chip. The site is under construction, so some features are not available yet.

3. Orders, prices and payments

Orders can be placed through the online store or on WhatsApp. The price, payment methods, production times and shipping costs and times are confirmed in writing before each order; nothing published on the site guarantees them on its own.

4. Handmade products

Each tag is handmade in resin. There may be small differences in color, shine or shape compared with the reference images, which are illustrative.

5. Activation and pet profile

To activate a tag, the responsible person must provide truthful details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for the information you publish in the profile, including the contact details and home location that anyone scanning the tag can see.

6. Proper use

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, to impersonate anyone, or to publish offensive or false content or content that infringes the rights of others. We may deactivate a profile that breaks these rules.

7. Scope of the service

The tag is a tool to help you be reunited with your pet, but it does not guarantee recovery: it depends, among other things, on someone finding your pet, scanning the tag and contacting you. It does not replace responsible pet care or other identification measures.

8. Exchanges, warranty and returns

These are handled according to what was stated at the time of purchase and Colombian consumer protection law (Law 1480 of 2011). If your tag arrives with a defect, write to us and we will find a solution.

9. WhatsApp messaging

We handle inquiries and orders on WhatsApp through a virtual assistant and a real person. We will only message you about your inquiry, order or tag, and you can ask to speak with a person or stop receiving messages at any time.

10. Intellectual property

The name, logo, illustrations, tag designs and texts on the site belong to Melck Mascotas and may not be copied or used without permission.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. We may update them; the current version is the one published on this page, with its update date.
